Ilya started dancing when he was 6 years old in Chisinau Moldova. He was National Champion in Standard , Latin and 10 dance , representing Moldova at the junior 2 Latin world championships making 2nd place in the world. At 16 years of age he moved to Germany to represent this country. Ilya and his partner were the finalists at the world championships youth Latin. In 2013 he moved to USA to pursue his career. Currently Ilya with his partner is one of the strongest Professional Latin couples by making the finals and placing 1st and 2nd in the prestigious professional competitions such as Golden Star, Florida Superstars, Tri-State Dancesport Championships.
