Evgeny Dyachenko

Evgeny is originally from Russia, where he started to dance at age 7. He began dancing Russian folk and, after a year, he switched to Ballroom Dancing. Evgeny’s parents gave him a lot of support for his dancing. From his very first competition, Evgeny became a champion and during his long career in Russia he won many of the major championships. He was trained in both programs, Latin and Standard, by the best coaches in the world. Since an early age, Evgeny won many International Championships such as the Open Italian Championship, Australian Open, Finland Open, Blackpool Dance Festival, Open London, Copenhagen Open, and United States Dance Sport Championship. That made him one of the best dancers in the world.

Evgeny studied International Relations at Omsk State University while continuing his dancing and, after graduation in 2005, he moved to continue his dance career in the United States. His partnership with Inna Ivanenko was a great success and they quickly became one of the top professional American Rhythm couples in the world. Together they have won many competitions, such as the Atlanta Open, Wisconsin State, San Francisco Open, Virginia State, and Maryland Championship. In 2006 and 2007 they were ranked 4th in the U.S. National and World Professional American Rhythm Championships. In 2006 Evgeny and Inna ranked 2nd in the World American Rhythm Show Danceand were showcased on “America’s Ballroom Challenge” on PBS. During the Summer 2007, Evgeny and Inna performed in the “Dancing With The Stars” tour in 25 cities in the USA and Canada. In 2008 they traveled across the country with “Champions of the Dance” Tour. Evgeny has also become a top-level Pro-Am teacher, with students winning the National and World Championships. He has also used his creative talent to choreograph Ballroom Dancing for ice dancers. Member of North American Dance Teachers Association and certified Ballroom Adjudicator in USA.
